Duke Dashington Free is a 2D puzzle game where you control the fearless Duke Dashington, an explorer and professional treasure hunter who leaves chaos wherever he goes.
The gameplay combines elements of platform and puzzle games in a really original way. The objective of each level is to get from the beginning of the room to the exit, which requires you to overcome a series of obstacles and traps. The problem is, your hero can only jump and slide from left to right. This means, for example, if he goes right, he'll keep moving right until he hits an obstacle.
In Duke Dashington Free you can find more than a hundred different levels, scattered throughout four different temples. Each level has to be finished in less than 10 seconds, although it normally takes more time. The first rooms are relatively easy, but as you advance, the puzzles get more complicated.
Duke Dashington Free is an excellent combination of puzzles and platforms, with perfect controls for touch screens. In addition, the graphics, with their 16-bit aesthetic, are absolutely charming.
